What to do if you’re in a Walmart store
Posted July 16, 2018 09:08:16 If you’ve been to a Walmart or Target store, you might have noticed a few different things, such as a few of the items you see on shelves are missing, or different models of the same item.
Here’s what to do, and what to avoid if you spot a missing item in a store:Make sure you’re shopping for the right itemsYou might see a different item in an aisle than what you’re looking for or a different model, but it might be the same exact item.
If the store is in a busy mall area, the difference might be even greater, but this is the time to check the item you’re searching for.
Look for items that match upStore owners usually have special clearance items on sale, so if you see an item for sale, look for it in the same aisle as the items that are available in the store.
The item you want is the same as the item in the clearance section of the store, but don’t assume it’s the same.
For example, if you want a different size size of the pants, look in the different aisle.
Items in a particular size are often not available in all stores.
If the store does have clearance items, it might also have the same size, but you might be able to get that in the other aisle.
In addition, check the items available in other areasThe aisle where you are searching for the item should match the items in the sale.
If you’re not sure, you can ask the sales clerk.
If you see the item is different from the item on the clearance list, you’re good to goIf you find the item that you want and the item isn’t available, or the item has a different price, contact the store or call the customer service department.

If it’s not, contact a Walmart representative for a refund.
