Walmart stores closed down for Christmas shopping due to fire

The Walmart store at the centre of the Christmas fire in Adelaide is now closed for the day.

Firefighters are battling the blaze at the Walmart store, which is located at the corner of Ayrshire and Main Streets.

There are reports of smoke and flames and emergency services are currently on scene.

Witnesses have described the scene as chaotic and chaotic.

Walmart said on its Facebook page that all employees were accounted for and no customers were hurt.

The store is now being managed by the Fire Service and is open for customers to buy Christmas gifts and merchandise.

It has been reported that there have been no injuries and that all businesses are back to normal.

Police say the blaze is believed to have started in a room at the top of the building and that it was contained to the basement level.
